adawg, when ever youd like to.. you can use the neptune and ill use a regular face mask.

We're going to make a big push this weekend, Jan 10th and 11th, to move more logs out of Cabin (if Sam's thumb recovers from the strain of pressing the button on the winch) and free up more areas. Anyone that wants to come along and play is welcome. Bring either winch, saw, or strong back. Kev manages fine, so weak minds aren't an issue...

We've made a huge improvement in one section already. Since we started with the ATV's, we've now pulled a couple 30' monsters up on shore with Kev's new toy. In the spot we've been working there are still two large logs to be moved and a bunch of small ones an ATV can handle just fine. Even with what is left, we're noticing an improvement with the bars before we started yesterday. Walking around, I could feel large cobbles where it was flowsand before and the last flood exposed bench material on the banks that were hidden. Once the rest of the logs are out we should have from the kids sandbar (sandbar off Gold Creek) up to almost the big bar at Rock Creek cleared of flowsand and available for dredging in the next couple of floods.

Anyone that wants to camp, let me know and I'll stick around overnight with you. Plenty of wood cut for fires. If anyone wants to get in the water to hook up logs, my advice is to wear your best winter suit or a drysuit. I wore my Akona wetsuit under the drysuit and was sweating.

Great to see you're still kicking, Jeff! You know that all work and no play makes one cranky, you definitely have to bring the toys out this summer.

Dredging, we can handle.

Reenactments, well, Kev vs. The Beav is always a great battle to watch!

We might have to have a Cobbler Cookoff though, Kev's got a great one of his own. I know Shack and Adwag will most likely come armed to the teeth to get the last bit of either so we can advert it as a cage match also!

i have the neptune also, but i was reading the reviews on the mantus and folks seem to like it....on the other hand i would not give up my neptunes...

adawg, ive got the neptune. and i like it 100X better than any regular set of goggles. it is quite expensive though. john also has one. maybe he can give better input than i can, i didnt purchase mine, it was thrown in a deal.

Would appreciate some input on full face masks . I will be in the market for a mask soon,and was looking for a mask,so I don't have to chomp on a regulator all day.I have used Kev's Neptune,and it is sweet,but a little too pricey .Have had probs,with the bondage mask sealing when I use the hood in cold water .And the vision is limited .

My question is..Is there a good mid range,$250-300 mask out there .I have scoured the web,but no luck ..

I really like the silicone shirt in the Neptune..Seals really well .. Thanks for your reviews .

Work Work and more work. It does'nt seem to stop. I am about to go stir crazy. Dredged one time all last season, went to one re-enactment ( and Wylie knows how much I like shooting the big boom stick) and the rest of the time spent around the house. This years New Years resoulution is more dredging, more re-enacting and more beer. Lots of beer! I will be making more then one trip to Bearfoot this year. Hey Kev, I have'nt seen any postings from ABearzz in awhile, is he O.K.? Wylie tell Terry I still need to show her the peach cobbler for the dutch oven. I also got a pound cake recipe for it also. If the sore portions of your hands and feet are in callouses areas, you may want to treat the callous. The "pruning" and wrinkles on hands and feet are a result of the dead surface skin absorbing water. If you take care of the spots with deep dead skin (calloused), you may solve the problem.
